Section 31 Grant – Emergency Winter Damage

Following the severe damage caused to roads by two harsh winters, the Department for Transport allocated extra funding to Highway Authorities in England and Wales.

Authorities received an amount based on the total length of adopted highway that they maintain. We received a grant of of £2.6 million. The statement below provides further details and describes how the money has been used.
