Any business or organisation with an address inside the Eastbourne town centre controlled parking zone (CPZ) can have up to six business permits.
Each permit can cover up to three vehicles, and your permit can cover one or all subzones.
You must be able to show that a vehicle is essential for the running of your organisation and needed for making several deliveries or visits a day. Business permits are not for use on vehicles that are only used for the journey to and from work.
Day permits can also be bought for visiting tradespeople or contractors – see our main page about Eastbourne parking.
Where does a business permit allow me to park?
Business permit holders can park without time-limit or payment in permit-holder or shared-use bays.
Your business permit is not valid in off-street car parks, pay-and-display-only bays or loading bays. You are not allowed to reserve a specific parking bay, or park a trailer in a parking bay.
There are four sub-zones in Eastbourne, called zones A, G, S and N. Find out which sub-zone your business is in on the map of controlled parking zones in Eastbourne.
How much does a permit cost?
- One sub zone: £220 per year
- All sub zones: £420 per year
There is no waiting list and permits can be issued straight away.
