Local Transport Plan 3 (2011–2026)
We are currently developing our third Local Transport Plan (LTP3) setting out our how we plan to improve transport and maintain the roads between 2011 and 2026.
The bulletin below sets out the requirements and timescales for the LTP3 and was sent to key groups and organisations for their views. A full public consultation on the draft strategy will be carried out in autumn 2010.
Environmental assessment
The development of LTP3 will include a Strategic Environmental Assessment (SEA). This will ensure that issues affecting the environment are taken into account when the strategy is developed. The first stage of the SEA is a Scoping Report which can be downloaded, below.
