What is Oxford Music Online?
Oxford Music Online gives you access to a range of music resources, including the authoritative Grove Dictionary of Music and Musicians, Oxford reference books, music recordings and articles.
You can search more than 45,000 articles on people and places, instruments and techniques, genres and styles:
- full text of the ‘New Grove Dictionary of Music and Musicians', including the Opera and Jazz editions and all aspects of music worldwide from classical to hip-hop and from baroque to blues
- additional text from the ‘Oxford Companion to Music', and ‘Oxford Dictionary of Music'
- over 20,000 biographies from Mozart to Yo-Yo Ma and Fats Waller
- 3-D interactive images of musical instruments.
- RILM international database of over 400,000 abstracts of music literature
- Classical Music Library and Digital Recordings in American Music (DRAM) databases containing thousands of recordings.

Use your library card and PIN to sign into the E-library and go directly to the online reference library page.
