'The yellow book 2012: NGS gardens open for charity'

The National Gardens Scheme (NGS) is a charity which raises money through the opening of gardens to the public. Over 3,700 gardens opened in 2011, with 750,000 visits and over £2.6 million donated to charity.

In 2012 over 3,800 gardens will be open, marking the 85th anniversary of the National Gardens Scheme.

This book contains details of gardens throughout England and Wales, offering visitors a unique opportunity to enjoy people's normally private creations, and some are open to the public on a regular basis. The range of gardens is constantly growing and now includes schools and allotment groups.
