Getting help from our computer buddies

If you know the basics of using computers but can get stumped by quite simple problems like the menu bar disappearing or filling in an online form, you can ask for help from our computer buddies.

Buddies are volunteers who spend time in libraries helping out when people get stuck with computers and the Internet.

Where and when computer buddies are available

You can ask for help from a computer buddy when they are available in the library, or book a session with them by phoning 0345 60 80 196. They are available to offer general help and advice at:

• Battle Library – Wednesday morning
• Crowborough Library – Thursday 3pm to 5pm
• Eastbourne Library – Wednesday 10am to 2.30pm
• Hailsham Library – Friday morning. Other sessions available on request, please phone Hailsham Library on 0345 60 80 196 for details.
• Hastings Library – Tuesday afternoon, Friday afternoon
• Lewes Library – Friday afternoon
• Newhaven Library – Tuesday afternoon
• Peacehaven Library – Monday morning, Wednesday morning
• Ringmer Library – Wednesday morning

Computer buddies are also available at other times and libraries to help with Go On computer courses.
