'Stone heart'

'Stone heart' by Charlie Fletcher

Deep in the City something has been woken, so old that people had been walking past it for centuries without giving it a second look.

When George breaks the dragon's head outside the Natural History Museum he awakes an ancient power. This prehistoric beast hunts him down with a terrifying wrath. The World War One gunner offers some protection, but George and his companion Edie are trapped alone in a world of danger. The rest of London oblivious to their plight.

This fantasy for older readers will make you view London and its statues in a whole new light. It's well worth the read!
