Every year children can take part in a free summer reading challenge at libraries across East Sussex.

Story Lab 2012
This year's challenge has an Olympics theme with the hi-tech Story Lab attracting stories from all over the world. It's the place to read, collect, share, create, transmit and broadcast stories.
Look out for details at your school or local library in July 2012.
Circus Stars 2011
In 2011 more than 10,000 children got a colourful 3D circus stage and took part in three tasks:
- Practice
- Reheasal
- Showtime.
Each task involved reading books and collecting bookmarks, yo-yos and wristbands. If you finished all three tasks, you received a special Circus Stars medal and certificate presented at school.
Children under four did a Circus Stars Book Crawl with a very special certificate, and children with disabilities took part in our Bag Books mission – read about Bag Books.
