New films can be reserved online after they are three months old. You can reserve TV shows straightaway.

Films in other languages
We've got many films from world cinema.
Most DVDs include audio tracks or subtitles in several languages. These are listed on the back of the DVD box.
Help for people with a visual or hearing impairment
Most DVDs include subtitles. Some DVDs also include audio description (AD) providing spoken details of key visual elements, such as locations, facial expressions and clothing.

Listen to the soundtrack from your favourite films – you can borrow CDs from some of our libraries for a small hire charge.
Donating, selling and buying
Donate your old DVDs to our libraries or charities, sell them secondhand, or pick up a bargain from our ex-library stock.
Please note, we will consider local history material on DVD or other formats, but can't accept for loan any non-rental DVDs as this a breach of copyright and industry contracts.
