Spray Water Sports Centre
The Spray Water Sports Centre offers courses in sailing, windsurfing, canoeing, body-boarding and power boating. We offer activities for adults and children and young people.
The centre caters for all abilities from beginners through to experienced sailors.
Anyone can take part, from families and individuals to school groups, businesses and groups with special needs. All courses are taught by qualified instructors.

Opening times
The centre is open all year round, except the school holidays at Christmas. From the beginning of May to the end of August the centre is open seven days a week. From September to the end of April it is open six days a week. Course times vary depending on the season.
Classes can be booked to start from 9am year-round, but the last class of the day may start as late as 6pm in summer or as early as 1.30pm during the shorter winter days. Staff at the centre can advise when you make the booking.

Getting there
The centre is on the A259 on the eastern end of the seafront towards the harbour in Eastbourne. The centre is on the beach opposite the Princes Park and is well connected by a regular bus service.
Risk assessment
Schools and corporate groups who need to complete risk assessments for their own records can download our prepared risk assessment forms.
These should be completed before coming to the centre and used alongside any risk assessment that you use on school premises or at your place of work.
