Our priorities and plans for leisure and tourism

Council Plan

Our main priorities for leisure and tourism are laid out each year in the relevant chapters of the overall Council Plan:

  • Community services
    – Make available the documentary history of East Sussex (including Brighton & Hove) to present and future generations.
  • Environment and Planning
    – Make our natural and built environment more pleasurable for the public, and support tourism.
    – Use the planning process to achieve sustainable development, meeting the needs of people and the economy while respecting the environment.

For more information, read the different chapters of the Council Plan.
