Applying to use the record office

When you visit you will need to complete an application form before you can use the record office. You can:

  • download a copy below and take with you when you visit
  • pick one up from the record office and complete it on the day.

Readers' ticket number

The form asks you for your ticket number. You might already have one of these if you have done some research before, or we can create one for you when you visit.

What we use the information for

This form gives us a record of your visit and confims that you agree to comply with data protection legislation. There is also a section which we use to collect statistical information about your use of the office (subject of research and where you have travelled from).
