Records withdrawal if deposited by an organisation

You may only withdraw records from East Sussex Record Office if:

  • you represent the original depositor
  • you represent the successor of the organisation that deposited the records
  • you represent the depositor and have a letter of authorisation.

To request your records, complete the Withdrawal of archives by transferor or depositor form (attached below).

You will need to confirm the arrangements for withdrawal and collect them from the Record Office by appointment.
