Fitness walks

Walking is one of the easiest ways to be physically active. It can help you become fitter and lose weight, helping to avoid other health problems such as heart and lung disease.

We've put together these Fitness Walking maps to give you an idea of distances and the amount of energy you could use by walking the routes.

Many of the walks are near good bus services, so if you don't feel able to walk the whole route, you could catch a bus for part of it.
