Pashley Manor Gardens (Ticehurst, Near Wadhurst) Pashley Manor Gardens are a mixture of romantic landscaping, fine old trees, fountains and large ponds – typical of an English country house. Sheffield Park Garden (near Fletching) Originally laid out by Capability Brown, these magnificent gardens surround four elegant lakes. National Garden Scheme (NGS) – Sussex gardens Most gardens which open for the NGS are privately owned and open just a few times each year. All money raised goes to the NGS who then distribute it to nursing, caring and gardening charities.
