Feasibility study – Extension of National Cycle Network route 21

We asked for your comments on a study carried out by our consultants into the possibility of extending National Cycle Network route 21 (NCN 21).

The deadline for sending comments was Friday 5 October. We will take your responses into account when recommending the most suitable way forward.

At a meeting on 17 December, Lead Member for Transport and Environment Matthew Lock agreed with recommendations to select Route A and a slightly modified Route B as possible route options at this stage.

Further work will be required and this will be carried out when funding has been identified to take the project forward to the next stage.
