'On the verge' – public art project

Description of art project

For a year artist Mary Hooper recorded the wild flowers and plants growing in the verges between Bexhill and the Conquest Hospital in Hastings.

These images, information about the plants and a poem called 'The Taxonomer's Girl' were displayed inside Stagecoach buses on routes 711 and 712 between Hastings and Dover.
