At end of financial year 2006/07 the East Sussex Fund was valued at £1,708 million an increase of £112m (7%) on the previous year.

Pension Fund Investment Panel
The overall direction of the pension fund’s investment policy is the responsibility of the Investment Panel.
Day-to-day management of the investments is delegated to external fund managers who report to the panel each quarter.
