Who do I contact about my pension?

Most general questions about the Local Government Pension Scheme (LGPS) in East Sussex can be answered in the Employee guide or in the shorter Summary guide.

If, having read the employee guide, you need further help please contact Serco. They are contracted by East Sussex County Council to provide day-to-day administration of the LGPS. (Please note that administration was previously carried out by ITNET plc and this name may still appear on some forms and documents).

How do I make a complaint?

You should start by contacting Serco at the address above to see if they can help you.

If you wish to take a complaint further, please see our Dispute resolution procedure.

The Pensions Ombudsman is appointed by the government to investigate and decide complaints and disputes about the way that pension schemes are run. He is independent and acts as an impartial adjudicator.
