Supported introduction to employment policy

Starting a new job is a challenging experience. Providing feedback and support for new employees helps people to settle in quicker.

These policies ensure that all staff in new roles receive support from their manager during the first 12 months. They apply to first time Council employees, those changing jobs within the Council and those transferring from another local authority.
