Qualifications and training in childcare
If you don't have the qualifications needed for a vacancy, it is still worth contacting the employer – they may be able to find training for you or let you train for the qualification while working in post.

Training on home based childcare
If you are thinking of working as a childminder or home based childcarer, you must complete the ‘Understand how to set up a home based childcare service' course within six months of registering with Ofsted:
