Sussex Coastal Towns Study

The Sussex Coastal Towns Study was carried out to demonstrate whether there are significant cross-boundary issues that will require a distinct sub-regional strategy response in the South East Plan. The study report was submitted to SEERA on 30 April 2004.

The appendices to the study give information about existing regional policy for the area, SEERA’s indicative map showing prospective sub-regions, partnership arrangements for the study, SEERA’s brief for the work, a map of environmental constraints in the wider study area, summary results from the Indices of Deprivation 2000 for the study area, a summary of two SWOT exercises carried out for the study, and housing development scenarios for testing in the study.
