Adult community groups - Rubbish Heap Challenge game

We offer the Rubbish Heap Challenge game for adult community groups. The game has been designed by the Science Museum and is a great way of getting people of all ages thinking about the issues surrounding waste. The session can be adapted to include more in-depth discussions as we work through the game.

The group is split into four ‘towns’ which compete for funds to spent on facilities and campaigns to improve the town’s environment.

The session takes about 1 hour 30 minutes and there are four rounds in which the towns can win funding; those in the town with the most money at the end of the game win recycled prizes!
