Directions

The site is one and half miles north west of Wadhurst town centre, in Faircrouch Lane, TN5 6PT

From the town centre, head north west for one mile along the High Street and into Station Road (B2099).

You will pass Wadhurst train station on the left. Continue for a short way along Station Road.

Turn left into Faircrouch Lane. The site is a little way along the lane on the right.

Opening hours

  • April to end September: Monday to Sunday 9am-6pm
  • October to end March: Monday to Saturday 8am-4pm, Sunday 9am-4pm
  • Bank Holidays: Open to usual hours
  • Christmas 2008/New Year arrangements:

    • Open 8am-1pm on Christmas Eve and New Years Eve
    • Closed on Christmas Day, Boxing Day, and New Years Day
    • Other than those dates, normal opening hours will apply as above

    Further information

    • Vans or trailers require an entry permit.
    • Only 6 bags of soil or hardcore will be accepted per month.
    • The site can be very busy at weekends during the summer months. The site tends to be less busy mid-week.
    • A site visit to your home may be required if the site staff suspect you are taking commercial waste/recycling to the site. All visits are carried out by East Sussex County Council staff.
