Directions
The site is west of Hastings town, off the Bexhill Road (A259) between Glyne Gap/Ravenside Retail Park and St Leonards, TN40 2RZ
From Hastings:
From Hastings pier, go west along the A259 towards Bexhill. Go under the railway bridge and carry straight on into Bexhill Road (A259).
Turn right near Hastings Garden Centre into Freshfields. Go to the top of the road past the playing fields. The site is at the end of the road, on the right next to the landfill site entrance.
From Bexhill:
From Bexhill train station, go north along Upper Sea Road (B2182) and turn right into De La Warr Road. At the traffic lights at the end of the road, turn right onto the A259 (signposted Hastings). At the Glyne Gap roundabout (by Ravenside Retail Park) take the Hastings exit on the right into Bexhill Road (A259). Continue along Bexhill Road (A259) for half a mile.
Turn left near Hastings Garden Centre into Freshfields. Go to the top of the road past the playing fields. The site is at the end of the road, on the right next to the landfill site entrance.

- Vans or trailers require an entry permit.
- Only 6 bags of soil or hardcore will be accepted per month, per household.
- Only 4 sheets or 6 bags of bonded asbestos and plasterboard will be accepted per month, per household. Before bringing these materials, please call Veolia on 01273 765286.
- The site can be very busy at weekends during the summer months. The site tends to be less busy mid-week.
- A site visit to your home may be required if the site staff suspect you are taking commercial waste/recycling to the site. All visits are carried out by East Sussex County Council staff.
