Directions

The site is in the south eastern outskirts of Hailsham, off Station Road, BN27 2BY

From George Street in the town centre on the one-way system turn left into Station Road. Continue along Station Road for three quarters of a mile, passing a pond on the left.

Look for a side road on your left just after the national speed limit sign. Turn left into this road. The site is immediately on the right, before the Swan Business Centre.

Opening hours

  • April to end September:
    Monday to Friday 9am to 6pm, Saturday & Sunday 9am to 1pm
  • October to end March:
    Monday to Friday 8am to 4pm, Saturday & Sunday 9am to 1pm
  • Bank Holidays: Open 9am to 1pm

Further information

  • Commercial type vehicles, such as vans, and trailers require an entry permit .
  • Only 6 bags of soil or hardcore will be accepted per month, per household.
  • There may be a height restriction barrier in place at the entrance to the site which is set at 6'1" (1.85m).
  • The site can be very busy at weekends during the summer months. This site tends to be less busy mid-week.
  • A site visit to your home may be required if the site staff suspect you are taking commercial waste/recycling to the site. All visits are carried out by East Sussex County Council staff.
