Toner cartridges for recycling
Recycle at Work is a new collection service provided by Magpie Recycling, serving businesses along the East Sussex coast from Peacehaven to Eastbourne.
As well as helping the environment, using this service means that your business could save money by avoiding the 33% increase in landfill tax from April 2008.
What materials can be collected?
The following materials can be collected from your business for recycling:
- paper, cardboard and confidential paper
- toners
- IT equipment
- plastics
- glass, cans and tetrapak drink cartons
- textiles and books.
How much does it cost?
Magpie provide plastic sacks for your materials:
- sacks are the size of a bin bag and collection costs £1.35 + VAT per bag
- confidential paper is collected in white bags, shredded then recycled and costs £4 + VAT per bag
- cardboard can be in cubic metre sacks at a cost of £5.50 + VAT.
Waste Transfer Notes will also be provided, as required by the Duty of Care waste regulations.
