How was the Preferred Strategy developed?
The Preferred Strategy was developed after background work and consultation with parish councils, the general public and other stakeholders. See:

In order to meet the capacity requirements identified in Policy CS2 a number of waste facilities will be needed in East Sussex and Brighton & Hove. The Plan needs to broadly set out where the facilities should go. See Preferred Strategy:
