Which councillors serve on the Planning Committee?

Any Member of the Council’s Regulatory Committee can serve on the Planning Committee but current membership of the committee is:

• Councillor Michael Tunwell (Chairman)
• Councillor Carl Maynard (Vice Chairman)
• Councillor Godfrey Daniel
• Councillor Pat Ost
• Councillor Richard Stogdon
• Councillor Barry Taylor
• Councillor Olive Woodall.

Members of the committee cannot express any views for or against the proposal until they have considered all the issues, including the officer report on the assessment of the application. This is to ensure their decision is taken having considered all the appropriate information. If they do express a view for or against the application in advance of the committee meeting, they cannot take part in making the decision on the application.
