Pebsham Countryside Park project
The Pebsham Countryside Park project is in the early stages of development. It is part of a series of developments in East Sussex and northern France which have benefited from European funding and close partnership with French organisations. How we plan to develop the area
The park will develop and enhance the green space between Hastings, Bexhill and Crowhurst, an area of approximately 600 hectares (1480 acres).
We want to create a sustainable, multi-functional area with space for leisure, relaxation, sport, ecology and education. Early developments in the park area will include new public rights of way signposts and some improved paths. Please note that if you visit the park area, you should stay on these designated public footpaths and bridleways.
Visitors are already welcome at the Filsham Reedbeds, managed by Sussex Wildlife Trust.
We aim to develop an open space that is innovative and sustainable, and one that will attract local and international visitors to the Pebsham, Bulverhythe and Combe Haven valley areas.
