Newly Qualified Teacher (NQT) Primary Pool

If you are looking for a teaching job in a primary school you can apply to join the Newly Qualified Teacher Primary Pool. Before completing the application form it is important that you read the guidance notes carefully, as these give details of how to complete the form.

There is one closing date each year for all applications. The deadline for applying to the 2009 primary pool is 30 January 2009.

If your application is successful we will contact you by the end of February to arrange a date for your interview. If you succeed at the interview we will help you find vacancies that match your preferences. A head teacher will then contact you directly as soon as a possible placement becomes available. You can still apply for other teaching vacancies and you do not have to accept a job unless you feel it is right for you.
