Sustainable School Travel Strategy
Under the Education & Inspections Act 2006, we are required to produce a Sustainable School Travel Strategy which will:
- assess the travel and transport needs of all pupils in the county
- promote sustainable travel to school
- extend the entitlement to free home to school transport to low income families.
The strategy also sets out how we will achieve the objectives required by the Act, and by when.
