School admissions during the academic year
Who should use this form?
You should only use this form if your child needs to change schools during the academic year. For example, you are moving to East Sussex and need to change schools in the middle of a term, whether primary or secondary.
If your child is due to start at a new school in September next year, do not use this form. For example, if they are transferring from infant to junior school, or from primary or junior school to secondary school.
You will find the correct application forms at the appropriate time of year on the web pages relevant to your child. If you have missed the annual deadline for standard applications to start in September next year, please contact the school admissions team below.
How to complete this form
There are two ways you can send the form.
- Print it out, fill it in by hand and post it to the Admissions and Transport team.
- Complete the form online and email it directly to the school admissions team. You will receive an email confirming that your application has been received.
