In East Sussex we have the following schools:
- Nursery schools for children aged 0 to 4 years
- Infant schools for children aged 4 to 7 years
- Junior schools take children from 7 to 11 years
- Primary schools for children from 4 to 11 years
- Secondary schools for young people from 11 to 16
- Sixth forms for students aged 16 to 18
