Music exams
Music exams start with grade 1, moving up to grade 8.
Music grades are recognised as the equivalent of a GCSE, AS or A level:
- grades 1, 2 and 3 – GCSE G-D
- grade 4 and 5 – GCSE C-A
- grade 6 and 7 – AS level
- grade 8 – A level.
