Education budget statement

Section 251 budget statement (formerly Section 52 budget statement)

Children's Services are required by law to prepare a budget statement before the beginning of each financial year for that year. The form is prescribed by the Secretary of State.

The Statement takes the form of a series of tables showing resources available and, for monies delegated to maintained schools, how the Local Authority has distributed these to its schools in the area.

Outturn statement

We also publish a yearly outturn statement that shows how money was spent.
