Adult education community colleges
To find out about courses near you contact your nearest community college. Ask them for advice about how to fit courses around the way you live. Try taster sessions, Saturday or evening courses, bite-size courses through the year or standard 10-week courses that can be taken during the day or evening.
Learndirect – courses in libraries
You can take computer courses in all our libraries on subjects including word and number skills, using computers, business and management. Courses are split up into small chunks that you can do at your own pace.

Centre for continuing education
These courses from the University of Sussex can be taken by anyone – whether you’ve done no studying since leaving school or you already have a degree and want to study further. These courses are specially designed to be taken by part-time students and you can collect credits towards a degree.
