- Becoming a magistrate
- People from all walks of life are encouraged to apply. If you can give a minimum of 26 half-days per year why not consider this fascinating and challenging role.
- Apply to be a volunteer purchaser
- Volunteers aged 14 to 16 1/2 are needed to help us check that businesses aren’t selling age-restricted goods to underage customers.
- Rotary Clubs
- This global network of clubs gets involved with a variety of community projects. Membership is by invitation only, so contact your local club if you want to join.
- Lions Clubs
- International group of both men and women. Community projects include fundraising events to help support local charities and helping families in distress.
- Women’s Institute
- Take part in a wide range of activities and campaign on issues that affect your community.
