CitizenCard is a photo ID card that is accepted nationwide in shops, banks, leisure centres and other places where you need to prove your age. This can include proving you're young enough to get a young person's discount or old enough to buy DVDs, video games or other products.
You can even use it in place of a photo driving licence or passport as ID to board domestic flights.

Some products can only be sold to people who have reached a certain age, and sometimes you will need other types of ID, such as when joining the library or buying a bus ticket.
