Common land register search

We can search the register of common land for you. To apply for a search:

  • complete the 'Registers of common land and town or village greens' form (available to download below)
  • attach two identical maps clearly indicating which land you would like us to search the register for
  • include a cheque for £14 made payable to ‘East Sussex County Council’.

Before you complete the form, please ensure that you carefully read the guidance notes at the end of the form.
