Civil marriage/partnership ceremony venue licence

The licence for civil marriages or partnerships is valid for three years and costs £1,100 for one ceremony room. Additional ceremony rooms cost £385 each.

To apply for a licence, fill out the application form below and attach:

• three copies of a plan of the premises clearly showing which room (or rooms) you wish to licence and the interview room
• a cheque for your fees made payable to 'East Sussex County Council'
• a copy of your public liability insurance.

When you have obtained a licence we will work with you to help make your approved venue a successful venture.
