There are a number of ways you can personalise your ceremony, and we are happy to accommodate your wishes. We want to help make your wedding day perfect. Please discuss your ideas and requirements with the superintendent registrar who will be marrying you.

Readings and vows
You can include readings of poetry or prose either by one of your guests, yourselves or the superintendent registrar. You can also write your own marriage vows, in addition to the legal marriage declarations. The registrar will ask to see any additional readings or vows you would like to include in the days or weeks running up to the ceremony.
Music
We have CD/tape players at each registration office so that you can bring your own selection of music. At our licensed venues there is scope for live music such as harpists and keyboard players, trios, quartets, or even a jazz band. Your registration office will be happy to talk about any aspect of the ceremony and arrangements you want to make.
Flowers
All of our registration offices are decorated with fresh, dried and/or silk flowers. Please let the superintendent registrar know if you want to bring your own.
Photographs and videos
We do ask guests to restrain from flash photography during the ceremony itself. Please let your superintendent registrar know beforehand if video cameras will be used at the event.
