Applying for British citizenship

If you are applying for British Citizenship, you can get help with completing your form at an East Sussex registration office.

For a fee our Nationality Checking Service will:

• check that your application form is completed correctly
• provide certified copies of original documents that need to be sent with your application so that you can keep the originals (for example, your birth certificate or passport)
• send your application by secure post to the Home Office.

A fee is charged per application:

• £52 for adults
• £27 for under 18's.
