Miro is my hero, but not the usual kind
He paints colourful, busy pictures
from the images in his mind.

Miro is an artist,
His strokes are bold and true,
But different in their vision,
from either me or you.

Colours popping off the page,
You need to think to find
How to make the shapes all fit
To see the joke behind.

He didn't take art seriously,
His pictures are such fun
You only need to take a peek at
"Woman in front of the sun".
