Older People's Engagement Days

Once a year, East Sussex County Council and East Sussex Seniors' Association (ESSA) bring together a wide range of individuals and organisations with an interest in older people's well-being. The purpose of the day is to ensure older people are involved when we are planning and providing support for them in the county.

The day was launched in March 2008 and focuses on eight quality of life themes that are set out in the Time of our lives strategy. The report from the June 2009 event sets out the participants' priorities for action between 2009 and 2011.

Find out about other ways to get involved, and some highlights from the 2011 Engagement Day: 'Full of life' - events for older people.
