Children with a disability
Children's Services advise and support children with disabilities to make sure that they can live as independently as possible. We do this whether you are the child concerned or a parent or carer looking after a child who is disabled or has special needs.

- Do you look after a child or young person with a significant disability? All parents need a break from looking after their child from time to time. Find out how you could get a break from caring.

- Please contact us so that we can help you before a situation reaches crisis point. We can visit and assess your needs. You could get help such as care in your home, equipment and adaptations for the home, social work support, and respite care.
