The East Sussex pledge to children in care

This is a promise to all children and young people living in care in East Sussex. It was written with the help of the Children in Care Council.

The promise says that we will look after you properly. We promise to:

• find you the best available home
• help you stay in touch with friends and family
• help you stay fit and healthy
• help you do the best you can at school.
• help you make a success of moving on from care to adult life.
