Licences for performing animals
If you intend to keep or train animals for public performance – for example, in a circus, television, theatre or in a film – you must apply for a licence from our Trading Standards service.
We are required to keep a register of people who train and use performing animals, under the Performing Animals (Regulation) Act 1925.
