Health and safety requirements for suppliers and contractors

We require all suppliers and contractors to have a comprehensive company health and safety policy, in addition to providing risk assessments and method statements for all work that is to be carried out for the Council.

We also have a 'Safe System of Work' procedure for the management of contractors and consultants, which is applied to all supply, service and works contracts.
