Meeting rooms for hire at County Hall
Meeting rooms at County Hall are now available for hire by local businesses and voluntary organisations.
The rooms are available outside office hours at the following times:
- Monday to Friday, 6.30pm to 10pm
- Saturday and Sunday, 10am to 10pm.
There is a 25% discount for registered charities.
Rooms for hire
Meeting rooms are available in the main County Hall building and in Westfield House, a separate building on the County Hall campus at Lewes.
We can accommodate meetings from eight to 90 people. Some rooms offer either boardroom or theatre-style seating.
There is a disabled access ramp to reception and lifts to all floors in County Hall. In Westfield House, all meeting rooms are on the ground floor.

Booking a room
To hire a room, please contact us at least five working days before the room is required. We will need to know the date and time of your meeting, as well as how many people will be attending and how we can get in touch with you. We will contact you within three working days to confirm the booking and request payment.

Catering
On weekdays, the County Hall caterers can provide the following:
- Tea, coffee and hot chocolate cost £1.15 per person (with biscuits £1.65 per person)
- Mineral water, orange juice and apple juice each cost £1.75 per litre.
External caterers can be used to provide cold buffets and sandwiches and for all catering at weekends. Please let us know your requirements in advance and we will let you know the options available.
Please note that food and drink are not allowed in the Council Chamber.

Parking
Charges at the County Hall car parks apply between 8am and 6pm, Monday to Saturday. Disabled spaces are available for blue badge holders.
